The Columbus Instruments Micro-Capnograph is a non-dispersive infrared respiration gas analyser which measures the concentration of carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide on a breath-by-breath basis. The device is designed to measure anesthetic and exhaled gas concentrations in small laboratory rodents.

The software includes the following functionality
- Live, updating views of raw CO2 (%), end-tidal CO2 (%), baseline CO2 (%), breathing rate (BPM) and N2O concentration (%).
- Customizable 1-chart, 2-chart or 4-chart layout
- Interactive charts for recording various types of measurements
- Large-print display of measurements, easily seen when far away from the monitor.
- Audible and visual alarms when concentrations cross custom set levels.
- Adjustable breath count (used for ETCO2/BLCO2/BPM averaging)
